What Is Needed to Submit an Application
To register, you will need:
- a copy of the work (file, text, image, code, etc.);
- information about the author(s)/co-authors and the rights holder;
- the date the work was created.
Term of Protection
Copyright is valid for the entire lifetime of the author plus 70 years after their death. Registration does not limit this term but ensures legal certainty throughout the entire period of protection.

Can a work be registered if it has already been published?
Yes. Publication does not disqualify it from registration. It is important to correctly indicate the date of creation and authorship.
Can copyright be registered for a logo or design?
