About the service:
This is a mandatory official document signed by the manufacturer after completing the conformity assessment procedure in accordance with the requirements of technical regulations and registered with the conformity assessment body. After drawing up the declaration of conformity, the manufacturer is entitled to mark the products with the technical regulations compliance mark—the trefoil.

The requirement to file a declaration applies to the following exhaustive list of products:

– machinery and lifting equipment;
– equipment and vessels operating under a pressure exceeding 0.5 bar;
– equipment intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres;
– construction products and articles (certain categories);
– materials and articles intended to come into contact with food products.
Which agencies are involved in the conformity assessment process?
Conformity assessment bodies that have received a certificate of designation from the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine have the right to participate in the process of the manufacturer’s conformity assessment procedure. Depending on the conformity assessment module selected by the manufacturer, the body may not only register the declaration prepared by the manufacturer but also issue a type examination certificate, a type conformity certificate based on quality assurance of the manufacturing process, and so on.

- Power of attorney from the manufacturer authorizing certification, contract, and invoice (if the applicant undergoing the conformity assessment procedure is not the manufacturer).
