Media registration is the official entry of a media outlet into the State Media Registry. It grants the publication legal status and confirms its responsibility for disseminating information.

Media registration consists of several main stages. First, the documents are prepared: the uniqueness of the name is verified, the scope of activity, frequency of publication, and distribution area are determined, and the founder’s contact information is updated.

After that, an application (along with proof of payment of the fee) is submitted online or by another method provided for by law.

The final stage is the review of the application by the National Council. A decision on registration is made within one month.
